I have officially graduated to The Penguin Walk. I totally waddle. Baby is a mover - and seems to really be awake during the nighttime hours (fabulous). Another noticeable thing about this pregnancy is the amount of insomnia I'm having - I'll wake up numerous times throughout the night, and usually one of them I am REALLY awake. Of course, it hits at 3 or 4 am. Sometimes, I have just said forget-about-it and start my day. I think I may actually sleep better when baby arrives! I looooong for a deep sleep. Even if it's for 30 minutes at a time.
I also have not only strange and vivid dreams (which I know is common during pregnancy) but a reoccurring theme that seems to do with running. I'm running races, or not prepared for them, etc. Last night my college coach called me a wimp not once, but twice, and benched me, saying I wasn't fast enough to make the top spots for this meet. Yikes!! Can someone say anxiety-manifestation??
On a totally separate note, Spring has arrived! Yippee! I am so excited to see its first signs. Sophia spotted some crocuses and the grass is slowly turning to that perfect young green. We planted some Violas and Pansies - two of my very favorite springtime loves.
