Moments of Brilliance

I haven't had many mommy moments of brilliance or clarity, but when I do, I take note of it.  Sophia has never been that into art/drawing, which is fine, however, she could use a little work in the fine motor department.  On a whim, I suggested that she might want to draw a picture of her favorite glass from our field trip today in her sketch book.  She got so excited that she plopped down on the floor and then went on to draw a few more.  We labeled them according to her words.  I reminded her that this was her special journal to document anything she wanted.  Boom!  A brilliant moment -- when an idea resonates with your kid and excitement ensues :)
