Today ended up being a great day with Sophia. We went to the Conservatory for a little field trip. I love it there -- I find nature (this is as close to it as I can get being it's March) to be calming and love to look at all the different plant life along with Chihuly's glass pieces that have become a permanent fixture there. His work is beautiful -- all the colors and shapes are strange yet familiar. Surprisingly, Sophia looooved the glass - more so than anything else. She also was fascinated by the Saguaro cactus.
