When Chores were fun

I can't really remember when that was, but Sophia seems to be hitting her stride with how fun it is to do chores around the house.  Lately, she is completely into dishwashing.   I am going to enjoy this ride while it lasts since I probably have only a year or two!

On a related note, this weekend Sophia wanted to go back to a store and buy a stuffed animal she liked.  I was pretty amazed because it's been a while since we saw it.  I told her we could and that we could use her money to buy it.  We counted it out from her piggy bank, put it in her little purse, and when the time came to pay, I let her be in charge.  It was a strange thing - letting her pay - I just wanted to do it for her and let her keep her money, but it was a good lesson in learning the value of money and what you really want to do with it.

She loves her new stuffed animal.  Tango the tiger has entered the fold.
