This past weekend we took Sophia to her first hockey game as well as an ice skate beforehand. She was very into it! She enjoyed 'skating' although she refused to hold Sean's hand while going around the rink and did a tiny shuffle 'skate'. Her balance was good though and she's looking forward to doing it again. I was a bit sad not to partake in this first experience - being that I'm pregnant I didn't think it would be a good idea to go on the ice even though I'm pretty confident in my balance/skills as a basic skater.
Sophia is also very into numbers and scores, so she kept close tabs on who was winning the game. She was happy as the Blue Jackets won 4-3.
