-ing, of course. I'm at 36 weeks so now we go to the Dr. every Friday. Today we took the whole family for the excursion. It seems I've set a record by putting on 4 pounds within this last week. I almost gasped. The nurse actually asked me what I've been eating, which luckily I didn't get too offended and break down in tears because I haven't really been eating anything out of the ordinary or more than before. I felt a bit better when the Dr. told me she wasn't worried about it at all. Ironically, as I was sharing how excited I was that the past few nights I've slept better and not had to get up to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes the Dr. informed me, "Well, that's because you are holding onto the the water." Oh, great. One thing cancels out the other. I have really noticed the increased swelling -- having carpal tunnel, hand falls asleep when I sleep on my left side, and hands and feet are swollen. Ahhh, the joys of being pregnant in the summer, or just being pregnant? It is a good thing I'm in the final countdown!
