Taurus (April 19 - May 20): Associated with all things spring. Bullish. Gregariousness, stubbornness, appreciation of life's material luxuries, earthiness, happiest involved in some sort of creative process, doesn't forgive or forget easily, and loyal.
Some say it's just a number, but I do have to disagree on that. Turning 40 gives me pause. While I feel great these days, I am reflective about turning 40 because it feels like I'm on the top of a mountain able to look to both sides. I can appreciate all that has happened up till now in my life and am grateful for all the 'old' friends I have while I look to the other side and see new faces and experiences and getting older really means something to me now. I am really grateful for my health and my family and friends.
Sean threw me a very lovely birthday dinner party at Lindey's in German Village (along with some help from my sister-in-law Mandy and my Mom) and it was extremely touching to be surrounded by people I love, good food, good conversation, and of course, fresh flowers :) Thanks for making me feel so special!
I know this post is not about the kids, but I think it does warrant a side note :)
