Bring on the Crock Pot!

I'm always looking for good, quick recipes for during the week, particularly on the nights that I work.  If I can, I like to do something in the crock pot so it's easy for the sitter or Sean (let's be real - he's still no cook) to put together.  Tonight, the kids LOVED this recipe, so I thought I'd share.  I got it from a fellow mama blogger.  It's super easy and tasty - as I had some when I got home!  If you have a good recipe, do share and post.  Like I said, I'm always up for something tasty yet simple.

Honey Garlic Chicken

1-11/2 lbs. chicken thighs

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 t. dried basil

1/2 C. soy sauce

1/2 C. ketchup

1/3 C. honey

Put chicken in crock pot and pour contents on top of chicken.

Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Check after 3 hours on high, 5 for low.

Serve with rice and steamed veggies.  Enjoy!!
